Positive Lights Authors & Editors
We welcome contributions of articles, book reports and research efforts that relate to the quality of care of the elderly and disabled. Authors of articles or reports in this web site are listed below in alphabetical order, with a link to their articles or to a summary page of their articles. Contributions of this type help to minimize the amount of money required to identify and publicize the best practices in care for the elderly. We would greatly welcome help from someone who would to assume the duty as a volunteer editor for any section of this web site. We also appreciate and welcome articles about any of the topics listed under "Information Resources" in the left column, including book reviews. While we do not consider suggestions for links to articles on other web sites as being the same as original writing or research, we do appreciate the help. Those who provide ongoing help in locating useful resources on other web sites will be recognized as one of our volunteers. Gregg Gimlin President Jacobs, Vernon K. - Vernon is a CPA who focuses his practice on tax consulting and international tax law. He has contributed most of the articles in the ElderTax section and many of the articles in the section on ElderLaw. He is also the designer and administrator of the PositiveLights.org web site and the Treasurer of Positive Lights, Inc. Hammond, William G. - Bill is an elder law attorney in Kansas and Missouri who has generously contributed over 30 articles about a wide range of elder law and Medicaid issues. He is a co-author of The Kansas and Missouri Nursing Home Guide and the Alzheimer's Legal Survival Guide.
