Help for Professional Caregivers of the Elderly and Disabled
The professional caregivers working in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and retirement homes have the most direct impact on the quality of care of the elderly and the disabled. Positive Lights, Inc. wants to encourage those caregivers who exemplify "best practices" in the care of the elderly and disabled. We seek to publish stories of exceptional care by professional caregivers and we are developing an awards program to provide public recognition to professional caregivers who do more than merely attend to the minimal needs of those who depend on them. We therefore welcome stories of exceptional care by caregivers and we welcome suggestions for potential recipients of recognition awards to help publicize best practices by concerned care givers. Please send your story suggestions and award suggestions to editor @ positivelights.org.
